Kadike Trust was formed in 2018 by a few like-minded persons concerned about the environment. The objectives of the Trust is to nurture sustainable rural livelihoods and to document indigenous knowledge.

“Udupi Saree Revival” project initiated by the Kadike Trust in 2018 to revive local GI tagged weaving known as Udupi Saree practiced in DK and Udupi districts of Karnataka which was at the verge of extinction.

Other than weaving, Trust supports Environment related activities. Trustees also participate in various activities concerned with climate crisis in their own capacity. Trust has garnered accolades for its efforts from many prestigious institutions like one of the best NGO working in the handloom sector with NABARD, DH change maker award and few more.
